The Ministry of Health announced that 1,170 doses of the Pfizer and Biontech vaccines are now available.

A spokesperson said, “The Department of Health is pleased to announce that 1,170 doses of the Pfizer and Biontech vaccines are now available. The original expiration date was June 2022. However, the manufacturer has You have extended the expiration date past the original expiration date.”

Health Minister Kim Wilson explained: These doses are well stocked in our ultra-low temperature freezer sealed boxes and will be available starting this week through participating pharmacies and his GP office. This coronavirus vaccine supply is available for:

  • · student [18+] go to school abroad
  • ・Children over the age of 16/adults with underlying medical conditions
  • health care workers, including BHB employees;
  • · Essential Worker
  • Adults 50 years of age or older eligible for subsequent boosters – 5 months after last dose
  • Adults who received the 1st dose but not the 2nd
  • ・ Adults eligible for the first booster

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ayoola Oyinloye said: A further 5,800 adults and 400 children are expected to have coronavirus vaccines by the end of September. ”

“Vaccines are available by appointment and without walk-ins through Hamilton Health Centers for those without health insurance, HIP and FutureCare. It is also available at our offices, please check https://bhec.bm/covid-testing-facilities/ for a list of participants.”
