Grand Cayman, 16 August 2022 – The Cayman Islands Regiment (CIR) welcomed 29 recruits as part of Cohort 3 at a graduation ceremony held at the Cayman International School Arts and Recreation Center on Sunday 14 August 2022.
Recruits underwent two weeks of intensive basic military technical training and marked the beginning of service in the CI Regiment. This included first aid, communication and navigation skills, basic water rescue, humanitarian and disaster relief skills.
