The Luxembourg National Weather Service issued alerts on Friday afternoons and Saturdays due to the high temperatures that could reach 35 degrees Celsius.
According to Meteolux guidelines, the elderly, children, and people with health problems should not spend too much time outdoors, avoid physical activity in the scorching sun, or continue to rehydrate.
National temperatures can reach 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on Fridays and 33 to 35 degrees Celsius on Saturdays.
Pet owners need to make sure they have enough water, are protected from the sun, and are not left in a hot car.
Heat waves have high ozone levels and can cause irritation, breathing and heart problems.
Spain is currently recording temperatures of around 43 degrees Celsius in some areas, followed by southern France on Friday.
