SINGAPORE: A 42-year-old man was arrested and more than 8kg of drugs worth about S$343,000 were seized during surgery on Tuesday (September 6) and Wednesday.

A total of approximately 659g of ice, approximately 5kg of cannabis, 442g of ketamine, 252g of ecstasy tablets, 145 Erimin 5 tablets, 1.2kg of 17 bottles of liquid believed to contain GHB (Gamma Hydroxybutyrate), and tampered with. A beverage mix believed to contain a controlled substance was seized during a 535g pouch surgery.

CNB officers arrested a suspect in the Geylang Road district on Tuesday night.

“The man put up a violent struggle to resist arrest and used whatever force was necessary to subdue him,” the agency added.

About 134g of ice, 1.7kg of cannabis, 77g of ketamine, 54g of ecstasy tablets and 50 of Erimin 5 tablets were found. He was then taken to a hideout in the same area.
