A$AP Rocky is being sued for $25,000 (£20,600) in damages for shooting and injuring fellow rapper A$AP Lely.
elli, real name Terell Ephron, claims Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, brandished a firearm at him and then opened fire last November.
Ephron’s attorneys allege Mayers’ conduct was “illegal or extreme and outrageous” and caused “severe emotional distress” to the client.
Meyers, who recently welcomed his first child with Rihanna, will appear in a Los Angeles court and will be charged with assault with a firearm, which also stemmed from the incident.

In legal documents filed last week and obtained by the PA news agency, Efron laid out his allegations and called for legal action to be taken.
“Defendant (Mayers) illegally brandished a gun toward Plaintiff (Efron) either knowingly or in reckless disregard,” the document states.
“Furthermore, Defendant intentionally or recklessly struck Plaintiff with a projectile/fragment of a bullet.
“In both cases, defendant’s conduct was either illegal or extreme and outrageous.

Added to the filing was:
“This act was a material cause of physical, mental and emotional harm to plaintiff.”
In addition to the $25,000 amount, attorneys sought additional damages from Mayers to cover medical costs.

According to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Mayers is facing two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and suspected personal use of the firearm.
