Liverpool have signed with Scottish Premiership Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay, the Premier League club said Sunday.
British media reported that Liverpool paid Aberdeen £ 4.5 million ($ 5.5 million) and an add-on for an 18-year-old add-on.
Ramsey barely avoided being demoted from Scotland’s top flight and reached the final round of qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League, nine times in 33 appearances in all Aberdeen tournaments in the 2021-22 season. Recorded the assist.
“Playing at Aberdeen was a dream come true. Being one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest one now, is a big achievement and I look forward to showing my fans about myself. “Okay,” Ramsay said at https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-fc-complete-deal-sign-calvin-ramsay.
Ramsey will be the third summer signature of the Merseyside Club, following the arrival of Winger Fabio Carvalho and forward Darwin Núñez. ($ 1 = 0.8181 £) (Report by Aadi Nair in Bangalore, edited by Hugh Lawson)
