Argentina made history after winning for the first time on New Zealand soil. Michael Cheika’s side claimed his 25-18 Rugby Championship win in Christchurch.

The Pumas have beaten the All Blacks just once to date, but made a spectacular comeback after a 15-6 draw in Sydney 2020.

Argentina held the home side to just three points, but winger Emiliano Bofferi was one of the heroes, scoring 20 points on six penalties and conversions.

Flanker Juan Martín González scored the key score with a touchdown in the corner in the second half, and Boffelli’s conversion gave Argentina the lead.

The visitors were able to withstand a torrential delay charge from New Zealand and retain their historic victory at the top of the Rugby Championship after three games.
