All Macau citizens have been requested by health authorities to perform their own new round of Covid Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) this Saturday (25 June).

This is because the number of cases of COVID-19 continues to increase.

The latest update provided by health authorities at a press conference at 5 pm shows 170 confirmed cases.

This is the second RAT following Wednesday (June 22nd).

Rapid antigen test is a rapid diagnostic test suitable for point-of-care tests that directly detect the presence or absence of antigens. In addition to the three kits distributed at the first city-wide Mass Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) drive from Sunday to Tuesday, the second community-wide NAT program yesterday and today (Friday) further. Two sets were distributed.

Citizens are required to submit test results via the following platforms: https://app.ssm.gov.mo/generalrat

Also, at the new Coronavirus Response Coordination Center, people living and working in certain designated areas will need to implement a new NAT tomorrow.

The target areas are as follows.

-Luís de Camões Garden
-Lou Lim Ioc Garden
-All stores in Ruada Emenda
-All individuals working in the store between Rua Um and Rua Oito in IaoHon Neighborhood

-Workers in the Fu Tai Industrial Building at Avenida de Venceslaude Morais

– Workers at SanKin Yip Shopping Center in Avenidada Amizade

This applies if you have stayed in the above locations for more than 30 minutes after June 18th.
