In Luxembourg, about 300 people have been vaccinated against monkeypox virus so far after 1,400 doses of the vaccine were administered in mid-August.
Of the 47 infections recorded so far in the Grand Duchy, only three involved people outside the main groups at risk: men having sex with men. Center Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL). No precautions are necessary unless the virus spreads beyond the population at risk, Staub said.
