Billie Eilish debuted an unreleased song at a show in Manchester on Tuesday night.
He provided fans with a TV performance of this song by Pop Megastar, along with her brother and co-author FINNEAS O’Connell at the city’s AO Arena.
The show is the first of a series of UK tour dates, including dates at the O2 Arena in London, SSE Hydro in Glasgow and the Utlilita Arena in Birmingham.
The pair sat on two stools while Finius was playing acoustic guitar for a slow, melancholic song.
“This was just written by us and we just wanted to play for you,” she tells the crowd in a video shared on social media.
The song appeared to refer to recent events in the United States, including Johnny Depp’s multi-million dollar defamation trial against former partner Amber Heard.
“The Internet became violent when it saw a movie star in court while overturning the Roe v. Wade case,” Irish sang in a roar of approval from the audience.
This is the first performance in the UK since appearing at the Reading Festival in 2019.
The 20-year-old will also be in the headline slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival later this month.
