MK Dons has moved to attempt to sign Dawson Devoy, a Bohemian midfielder.

Ireland U-21 International declined to switch to League One Side in January, but independent.ie said last week that MK Don hadn’t lost interest and was ready to approach in the summer window. I reported.

It is understood that MK entered into discussions with the Bohemian about the talented Ashbourne youth after submitting the bid.

Deboy, 20, spent his childhood in Watford but was happy to go home and establish himself in the Irish League.

He became an important member of Keith Long’s side, and the manager admitted last week that interest was likely given the level of DeVoy’s exhibition.

MK Dons has already entered the Irish market this summer to sign Darragh Burns at St. Patricks Athletic for € 180,000.

Deboy is a long-term goal, but one of the scenarios being discussed is the possibility that he will be first loaned to ensure that regular football continues his growth.
