A man who was once temporarily married to Britney Spears was charged with stalking after appearing to his longtime boyfriend Sam Asgari at a pop star wedding.
Jason Alexander was also charged with trespassing, vandalism, and batteries, Ventura County Court records show.
He has not yet entered a plea and will appear in court for prosecution.
Alexander was Spears’ first husband. The two were abolished after they got married for less than three days in 2004.
Spears, 40, and Asgari, 28, married Thursday at their home in Thousand Oaks, California, in front of dozens of guests, including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna.
She writes: “I was very nervous in the morning, but at 2 pm it really hit me … we are married !!!
According to Spears lawyer Matthew Rosangart, they obtained an emergency protection order in court against Alexander the day after their wedding.
Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears, was livestreaming on Instagram as he approached his house. He appeared in an almost empty but decorated room, telling the guards that she had invited him.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, police officers who responded to the call for trespassing detained him and were arrested when he learned that there was an arrest warrant in another county.
Spears married Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007, and she shares two sons, 14 and 15.
She met Asghari in 2016 on a video set for her song Slumber Party.
Their wedding took place nine months after their engagement and about seven months after Spears gained freedom from the court guardianship system that controlled her life and business for over 12 years. ..
