DáithíÓSé praised the kindness of a stranger who came to pick him up by the side of the road this morning after his car broke down.
Kelly’s Man’s Day got off to a terrible start after his car broke down in Orgrim and was forced to connect a lift to Ballinasloe Station.
ÓSé continued to entertain his followers by sharing a series of updates on social media with details of his adventure on his way to the RTÉ studio.
“My day so far … the car broke down .. hitchhiked. A nice guy called Pat came to pick me up at 6:40 am by the road and kindly me Taken me to Ballinasloe station.
The TV host did a lottery before getting on the train to see if luck would change.
ÓSé finally got on the train to Houston Station and was gathered by a colleague at RTÉ.
The 46-year-old accused car trouble with a goalway fragrance. His son Mihall Og, 8, put him in the car when the county played against the kingdom in next week’s All-Irish Soccer Final.
“Maybe it’s the reason the car broke down … I’m just saying,” he joked.
RTÉ today The presenter celebrated his 10th anniversary with his wife Rita on Tuesday.
The pair got married in 2012 after they met at The Rose of Tralee.
He marked a special occasion by sharing a pair of sweet snaps from their wedding day.
