Drake surprised fans by revealing the impending release of his seventh studio album.

A US rapper announced on social media just hours before the release scheduled for midnight Thursday.

The title of the album is “Honest, Nevermind”.

Posting a photo of the album cover, featuring a title written in retro grunge graffiti lettering on a black background, the singer wrote:

Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, later posted a tracklist to the album.

The list of 14 tracks includes: Intro, Fallback, Text Go Green, Current, Keeper, Call My Name, Sticky, Massive, Flight Booking, Overdrive, Downhill, Thai That Bind, Jimmy Cooke.

Only nine months after the release of his last album, Certified Lover Boy, which delayed the rapper from surgery on his injured leg.

Drake’s six previous albums are all above the US charts.
