EastEnders star Jessie Wallace “expressed her deep regrets” after being arrested on charges of assault on police officers and drunken chaotic behavior, the BBC said.

The broadcaster said it had issued a “clear warning that this kind of behavior was unacceptable” to the actress who plays Catslater in the BBC soap opera.

Wallace, 50, was arrested early Sunday morning in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, after the incident, and was released without charge after receiving conditional warnings.
