MOSCOW, Aug 21, 2022 (WAM) — At least 16 people died and three more were hospitalized after a lorry crashed into a parked minibus in Russia’s Ulyanovsk region on Sunday, Reuters reported. It quoted local law enforcement.

“Preliminary data show that the driver of the lorry did not slow down in time and collided with the parked minibus,” the interior ministry of the Ulyanovsk region said in a statement.

A minibus was lined up between two large trucks as road construction was underway at the crash site.
