Tarjama’s “Translation” event, co-sponsored by the Arab World Institute in Paris (Institut du Monde Arabe), emphasized that language translation is a means of sharing thoughts and ideas.

In a series of lectures, the speaker also explored the rich history of Arabic and the future of the French language.

One of the most important agreements between ALC and the Arab World Institute is CIMA (Certificat International de Maîtriseen Arabe – International Certificate for Proficiency in Arabic) accreditation.

Developed by Institut du Monde Arabe, CIMA is the first internationally recognized accreditation to assess modern standard Arabic proficiency. This initiative was established in 2018 to encourage non-Arabic speakers to learn and master a language and has been strongly promoted by ALC.
