Abu Dhabi, June 6, 2022 (WAM)-The Center for Applied Research and Training (CERT) and the TADAT Secretariat today launched a joint program, TADATx, to strengthen UAE and regional tax management capabilities.

This cooperation aims to facilitate the specialization of tax management functions in line with international best practices.

The TADATx program allows financial institutions to build capacity in the tax sector through methodologies that are in line with expected domestic revenue mobilization outcomes. CERT will be the only training provider of the TADAT evaluator training program in the UAE and the Gulf region through the Tax Academy.

Emphasizing the importance of partnerships, CERT CEO Dr. Mohamed Baka said: To CERT’s commitment to foster an ecosystem for the sustainable development of human resources in local tax administration and financial planning. ”

Katherine Baer, ​​Deputy Director of Finance at TADAT, said: CERT will help build institutional capacity in the region. This is a valuable goal for everyone. ”

The TADATx program is offered in mixed mode at a weekly clinic led by CERT Tax Academy faculty with the participation of TADAT and CERT tax management experts who combine the edX Edge Platform with CERT Menasati. The first cohort of the TADATx program will begin on June 27, 2022, and the application for the Fall 2022 cohort will begin in July.
