Abu Dhabi, June 24, 2022 (WAM)-HH Sheikhham Danbin Zayed Arnahan, Representative of the Ruler of the Aldafra Region and Chairman of Dolphin Energy Limited, said that natural gas is very important to the UAE and is an integral part of it. In addition to the energy mix, the UAE has developed the oil and gas sector over the past few years, consolidating its leading position as a responsible global supplier and influential player.
He issued this statement during a visit to Dolphin Energy’s headquarters and Kizad’s facilities on Almaria Island, Abu Dhabi.
Accompanied by him was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed al Nahyang. Sultan bin Ahmed al-Javert, Minister of Advanced Industry and Technology, Managing Director and Group CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State and Managing Director of Dolphin Energy Limited. Obaid Abdulla Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of DolphinEnergy Limited; Head of the Sovereign Representative of the Al Dhafra region, and many senior officials.
The visit included a tour of Dolphin Energy’s facilities, during which he heard a detailed overview of its operations, contributions and projects.
He also met with company executives to explain the latest developments and activities, as well as the Emiratisation and Environmental Protection efforts.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the contribution of natural gas suppliers to the UAE’s economy and its efforts to promote the sustainability and employment opportunities of young people in the Emiratis.
