Hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) will face Thailand at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on the first day of the global qualifier, which runs from 18-25 September. Zimbabwe will also play Papua New Guinea on day one at the adjacent Tolerance Oval.

Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland and the USA complete their qualifying line-up in a battle to join Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the West Indies to host South Africa at next year’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. .

The match at Tolerance Oval at the Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub will be the first full international match since ICC accreditation, with Zayed Cricket Stadium hosting both the final and semi-finals. .
