Ministers of trade between 164 member states gathered in Geneva to make decisions on the most serious issues of the World Trade Agenda.
In 2018, 164 WTO members unanimously supported the 12th Ministerial Conference in Nur-Sultan in the summer of 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was postponed twice and decided to be held at the WTO headquarters in Geneva.
Participants in the conference will discuss many issues related to world trade, including responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, agriculture and resolution of the global food crisis, fisheries subsidies, WTO reforms, and further development of e-commerce. increase.
