Frankfurt / Brussels, June 24, 2022 (WAM)-Lufthansa of German Airlines has canceled more than 2,000 additional flights at its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich due to staff shortages.

The company announced two weeks ago that it would cancel the 900 connection in July. Lufthansa will remove an additional 2,200 of the total 80,000 flights from the system on Thursday, dpa news agency reported.

Cancellations specifically affect flights within Germany and Europe, but the company says it does not affect classic vacation destinations commonly used during the season, and flight schedules are subject to change. I added.
