Washington, June 10, 2022 (WAM)-NASA has commissioned a new independent study on so-called unidentified flying objects (UAPs), the German news agency (dpa) reported.

Authorities said Thursday that the UAP (also known as an unidentified flying object or UFO) was interested in aviation and national security, stressing that there was no evidence that the phenomenon was of extraterrestrial origin.

NASA said in a statement that the study, which began in the fall and will take about nine months to complete, aims to scientifically investigate events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena. I am.

A new UAP team, led by astrophysicist David Spergel, will work with experts in the science, aviation, and data analysis communities to help the space agency better understand UAP and how to best collect data. Focus on how to use it.
