MANILA, Aug 25, 2022 (WAM) — Three deaths have been confirmed in the onslaught of severe Tropical Storm Florita, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Thursday.

According to the Philippine News Agency (PNA), the number includes one from the Ilocos Region and one from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Meanwhile, three people were confirmed injured in the Cagayan Valley.

Another report under review is another fatality and injury by Bicol.

About 1,726 families or 6,623 people have taken refuge in 129 shelters, with the rest staying with relatives and friends.
