Khartoum, 10 September 2022 (WAM) — The Emirates Red Crescent field team has distributed food baskets and shelters to families affected by torrential rains and floods that have hit several states and cities in Sudan. materials were distributed.
ERC field teams provided humanitarian assistance to 3,500 people in two villages in White Nile State.
The team took on the challenge of bringing food aid to these hard-to-reach villages.
This humanitarian aid is part of the UAE’s ongoing air bridge to provide relief to flood-hit Sudan.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the beneficiaries thanked the UAE for providing assistance that helped them overcome the humanitarian disaster they were facing.
