The Blackbird trailer for the psychological thriller series gives viewers a glimpse of Ray Liotta’s last television appearance, who died at the age of 67.
The Goodfellows actor finished work on the Apple TV + program by playing Big Jim Keane with his on-screen son Taron Egerton before falling asleep in the Dominican Republic on May 26th.
The teaser clip shows Riotta talking to Egerton on the phone. I wanted a completely different life. Stable pay checks, children, families. “
Egerton, who plays Jimmy Keane, says, “Dad, tell me there’s a way out.”
Liotta replies:
The six-episode series follows Egerton’s character, who has been in prison for 10 years in the smallest security prison, with the mission of getting along with the suspected serial killer in exchange for freedom, and the greatest security that is criminally insane. Enter the prison.
Blackbird is the first of Riotta’s remaining projects to debut following his death while filming dangerous waters. The actor also completed the movie Cocaine Bear before his death.
Riotta became famous for playing former Conley Sinclair in the 1986 Black Comedy Something Wild and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
