Airline Flyr reported a loss of NOK 279.5 million in the second quarter.
The company says it carried more than 735,000 passengers between April and June. Flyr’s turnover for the same period was NOK 339 million.
Managing Director Tonje Wikström Frithrid said the quarter was marked by capacity expansion and new route openings, as well as recruitment and training of new employees.
“We went from four in the winter to ten this summer. We opened 44 routes to 38 destinations and added about 150 new colleagues, which clearly included It comes with a lot of investment costs,” says Frislid.
