The youngest solo pilot to fly solo around the world landed at Reykjavík airport today at 3:30pm, Morgan Brothers reported.

To celebrate reaching 200 RVK Newscast episodes on YouTube and another eruption on Meradaryl, we have a volcano-themed giveaway for you! Follow our Instagram page for more. Also, if you order a themed box by the 25th, Lava from a new eruption will be added for free to all orders.

However, you still need to complete your journey to fully own that title.

The pilot is Mac Rutherford, age 17. He was 16 when he started and celebrated his 17th birthday in Dubai.

Although Mac has lived in Belgium all his life, he is of Belgian and English descent. His father was a pilot and Mac decided to follow in his footsteps when he was 11 years old.

Previously, the youngest person to fly around the world was 18 years old. Mack will therefore have to complete the full lap by the end of June 2023 to break the record.
