Gary Busey has been charged with sex crimes in connection with an incident at a fan convention in New Jersey earlier this month.
The 78-year-old was charged Friday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment, according to Cherry Hill Police.
The charges stemmed from alleged violations at the annual Monstermania Convention held Aug. 12-14 at the Doubletree Hotel in the Philadelphia suburb of Cherry Hill, police said.
The actor from Malibu, California was scheduled to be a featured guest on all three days of the event.
Police did not identify the suspect as an actor and matched the actor’s age and hometown.
It was not immediately clear whether the suspect had an attorney, and the actor’s representatives did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
