(CNS): Government services were almost all back online by the start of business days on Monday after most of Sunday’s outages. Various services, such as telephone lines, websites, and electronic services operated by multiple institutions, were shut down, according to people familiar with the matter, but the 911 Center was not affected throughout. The outage began around 10:30 am, but the Computer Services Department (CSD) resolved the situation until Sunday and most services were backed up by 6:30 pm. According to the CSD, this issue occurred when regular power maintenance caused an unexpected surge and a fault protection trip service.
