Tourism officials announced today that the Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel East Tower and the Grand Hyatt Hotel B1 Tower will be used as medical surveillance facilities for quarantine after July 8.
At today’s pandemic update press conference, Lam Tong Hou, PR director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), said the Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel will add 470 rooms and the Grand Hyatt will add 300 rooms.
Currently, a total of 3,882 people are under medical surveillance at local hotels.
A total of 128 Covid-positive tests were diagnosed yesterday (Wednesday), bringing the total number of recent community outbreaks since June 18 to 1,215.
