Midfielder Jackie Groenen will be competing in the final Eurogroup match against Switzerland on Sunday after recovering from a coronavirus infection.

Manchester United stars had to miss a 3-2 victory against Portugal on Wednesday, but returned to training on Friday with a negative test.

Striker Fifiane Midema is uncertain after a positive test on Wednesday the eve of the match. After the opening match against Sweden last Saturday, Dutch management tightened contact rules after team members were allowed to meet friends and family.

The Dutch also want defender Anique Nawen to be in good shape after his ankle was injured against Sweden.

Nowen returned to training on Thursday, but first-choice goalkeeper Sari van Veenendar hasn’t trained yet because of a shoulder injury in the same match.

Lioness must score points against Switzerland in order to compete in the knockout stage of the tournament in England.
