Hailey Hunt Syndrome says her husband Justin is “getting better every day” after announcing that the singer is suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the 25-year-old model described his sudden diagnosis as “a very scary and random situation,” but said his condition was improving.
Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (RHS) is due to viral reactivation and is one of the 60 causes of facial or facial paralysis known in the United States.

Justin had previously told fans he was exercising his face to regain his movements, but it will still take some time to recover after the upcoming Purpose Tour dates have been cancelled.
Haley said: He is getting better every day. He feels much better.
“Obviously it was a very scary and random situation, but he’ll be perfectly fine. I’m grateful he’s fine.
“The support from our fans, friends and family was really great. Each one sent us good wishes, advice and recommendations. It was really great.”
It happens after Haley herself experiences “stroke-like symptoms” and is hospitalized in March and later undergoes surgery for a heart defect.
She states: Good feeling. I have taken steps to close this hole in the heart, and I have just given time to heal and heal my body.
“It was a little hard to recover from the procedure. If that made sense, I just gave myself time to exercise again and feel normal.
“But I’m fine now and I feel good because I don’t have to take any medicine anymore.”
The model stated that each health problem brought them closer.
She states: In fact, we had many really important and wonderful conversations.
“I think all the silver linings are to bring us closer as you experience this together, are there for each other and support each other. And really throughout these times. There is something that connects you.
“That’s the silver lining of these crazy times.”
The couple tied a knot at a secret ceremony in New York in 2018, when Justin was 24 and Haley was 21.
They signed their second vow in South Carolina at the end of September 2019.
