Harry Styles’ third album secured the title of the most weeks spent in number one in 2022 before returning to the top of the charts.

After being knocked in second place last week, Harry’s House reigned again, taking the top spot for the fifth straight week.

This was after Styles released a music video for their second single, Late Night Talking, on Wednesday.

Ed Sheeran’s blockbuster song “Equals”, which ranked 3rd this week, previously held the title after spending 4 consecutive weeks in 1st place this year.

Elsewhere on the album chart, Burna Boy was the first to rank in the top five of the UK album chart for his sixth album, “Love.” Damini came in second.

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, previously reached the top 40 when African Giant reached 16th place in 2019 and Twice As Tall peaked at 11th place in 2020.

James Bay also made a strong return to the charts this week with his new album Leap in fourth place.

The singer’s first full-length release in four years also surpassed this week’s official vinyl album chart.

Meanwhile, Paolo Nutini’s “Last Night of Bitter Sweet” lost its top spot from last week and fell to fifth place.

On the single chart, the LF System continues to be successful, with their song Afraid To Feel winning number one in the second week.

The Scottish DJ duo, consisting of Conor Larkman and Sean Finnegan, is a sample of the 1975 track I Can’t Stop (Turning You On) by soul group Silk.

Styles also maintained second place on his hit single “As It Was”, with George Ezra’s Green Green Grass rising from second to third.

Beyonce’s Break My Soul remains in fourth place, and Kate Bush’s “Mysterious Hill” is a new fan base found after being featured in the latest series of Netflix’s hit “Stranger Things.” As I continue to enjoy, I will be in 5th place.
