Music fans at Electric Picnic are ready to wash out as the Met Éireann warns of continued heavy rains this weekend.
Forecasters issued a yellow rain warning between 9:00 pm Saturday and 12:00 noon Sunday. Heavy rains this weekend “could cause disruption,” he said.
A rain advisory is also issued for rainy and windy weather from Friday evening through Monday.

More than 70,000 people are expected to attend the three-day festival in Stradbury, Colorado.
The site opened to 20,000 early entry ticket holders on Thursday, with music and entertainment kicking off on Friday.
Heavy rains will begin Friday night and can be locally heavy.
Saturday will see showers nationwide, with partly clear skies and heavy rain. As the days pass, the Met Éireann warns that the showers will be heavy and thunderous.

Saturday night will see more rain and a strong northerly wind. Localized flooding is possible. Not suitable for Stradbury Music Festival campers.
Sunday will also start with heavy rain, but it will be sunny in the morning and showers in the afternoon. Temperatures reach 15-20 degrees, with strong winds and gusts, and moderate southerly winds in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain moderate on Sunday night, with another gust of rain.
