Singapore-Many Singaporeans woke up to heavy showers on Wednesday morning (July 20), and rain clouds covered the island at 7:30 am.
Rain provided relief from dry weather days, which brought warmer weather here.
The weather forecaster said last Friday (July 15th) that the first few days of the second half of July are expected to be warm and fair. Due to stable atmospheric conditions that prevent the formation of rain clouds.
However, because the monsoon rain belt is predicted to be near the equator, it is expected to rain for the rest of the month, Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said.
“This is expected to bring more rainfall in the equatorial Southeast Asian region,” MSS said in a biweekly weather forecast.
Most days, late in the morning and late in the afternoon, there will be short showers, sometimes with lightning.
The MSS added that showers could be heavy in some days as the winds converge in and around Singapore.
Daily temperatures are projected to range from 24 ° C to 33 ° C on most days, and rainy weather can bring low daytime temperatures of 23 ° C to 32 ° C in a few days.
Nighttime lows are expected to remain around 28 ° C, especially in the eastern and southern coastal areas.
Singaporeans are advised to keep their umbrellas close for the rest of the month.
