My uncle got mad at the young man who took down his mask on the MRT, causing a confrontation between the two. One of the young men involved ended up asking his uncle if he wanted to go out and have a fight.
At least some video of the fight was captured on camera and posted to the @adminsgfollowsalll Instagram page.
The poster says they entered the MRT at Caldecott TEL heading to Woodlands when the fight started.
My uncle suddenly stood up and said, “Excuse me.”
He followed this by saying “Oi, oi oi” and walking towards the young man with his mask down.
Another man in a yellow shirt, presumably a friend of the man who pulled the mask down, began asking his uncle what was wrong and even pointed his middle finger at him.

After punching their uncle as he was lying down, Poster began documenting the fight on video.
And after that initial confrontation, several people stepped in and tried to calm everyone down because “it was getting out of hand.”
When things calmed down and people were back in their seats, the man who had pulled his mask down finally pulled it up.
But he pulled it down again, which upset the older man again.
The uncle yelled at the young man to pull up his mask, which led to another confrontation between them.
Luckily, my head was sober and the fighting stopped.
But one day, a young man in yellow asked his uncle, “Do you want to leave the MRT now to settle down outside?”
