Judicial police (PJ) are investigating yesterday after a half-naked male corpse was found floating in the waters opposite Avenida Marginal Flor de Lotus, west of Cotai.

Estimated to be in his thirties, the body of an Asian man, about 1.7 meters tall, wore black socks and black trousers with a white trainer.

Police concluded that his corpse had already begun to rot and died a few days ago. No identification or suicide note was found.

Police said customs officials saw the body on CCTV at 12:10 pm. A boat was dispatched to the scene for investigation, and the male corpse landed near the pier of a hotel in Taipa.
