International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi will lead a tour of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Russia-occupied Ukraine this week.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy warned over the weekend that the situation at the two plants remained dangerous even after they were reconnected to the grid after a blackout. Several strikes have been reported near the site in recent days.
The Ukrainian Pravda news site said the city of Energodar near the Zaporizhia factory came under shelling late Sunday, and that Russia hit a military infrastructure target with missiles in the city of Sarny in the Rivne region of western Ukraine.
