Jamelia said:

Jamelia’s husband of five years, who has kept his identity hidden from the public eye, stayed home to care for their four-year-old daughter True while she was in the hospital.

“I know it sounds selfish, but I wanted to share this experience with my daughters,” said Jamelia.
