Karan Todd Wins Gold Medal at World Kickboxing and Karate Association [WKA] World Championships in Prestatyn, Wales today.

Todd defeated New Zealand’s Te Au Pounama Warren by unanimous decision in the 16-17 men’s K1 division over 209 pounds.

The Bermuda native has been an attacker throughout a breathtaking three-round contest and hailed the victory as a highlight of his burgeoning career.

Describing Warren as the toughest opponent he’s faced, Todd told Barnews:

A CedarBridge Academy student added: I tried to control him and keep moving forward. That’s my fighting style.

“I knew it was going to be a close match, but I was confident I could win by the third round.
