Katie Taylor defeated Argentinian boxer Karen Elizabeth Caravajal at London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday night.

The Irish Sportster won the 10th and final round,

All of Taylor’s titles, including the lightweight IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO belts, depended on mandatory defense.

The 32-year-old Karavajal has won all 19 races in his professional career, but has never fought outside of Argentina.

The 36-year-old Taylor was the toughest opponent he had ever faced.

Taylor is currently undefeated in 22 professional matches.

Ahead of the match, Taylor said: Nothing is easy to fight at this stage. She has everything to gain and nothing to lose in this fight.

“These fighters are always very dangerous and I am looking forward to showing what they can do on Saturday night. I have a passion for it, and that’s what motivates me.”

Matches will be played between 9:30pm and 10:30pm, depending on other matches on the card.
