Police investigating murder of 9-year-old girl shot dead in Liverpool home offer information to people so they can ‘bring those responsible’ to justice as two suspects released on bail I am asking for
Police said they needed to be able to “produce strong evidentiary images” after the murder of Olivia Pratt-Corbell and repeated appeals for information about vehicles that were at the scene the night of the shooting.
Police continued to appeal on Saturday night after officers said the two men arrested in the deaths had been released on bail.

A 36-year-old man from Houghton was recalled to prison after he violated the terms of his license.
Both he and Dovecot, a 33-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of murder and two attempted murders.
Olivia was shot Monday night after a shooter pursued his intended target.

Merseyside Police said in a statement, “The investigation into Olivia’s tragic murder is ongoing, and we are still working to secure people’s rights so that strong evidential images can be produced and those responsible can be brought to justice. You must come forward.
“It still appeals to anyone who saw the black Audi Q3 car in the days leading up to the shooting, or has information about its movements after it left Kingxith Avenue on the night of the shooting.”
Police have previously released images of a seized black Audi Q3, believed to be the same car used to transport 35-year-old Nie to hospital.

Police also asked for information on social media, claiming that “silence is not an option”.

“I need a name. No silence allowed.”
Liverpool deputy mayor Harry Doyle said the arrest brought “hope and a sense of relief”, claiming that people “want to see justice” for the girl and her loved ones since the murder.
Olivia’s family has urged people to ‘do the right thing’ and said, ‘Speaking out is not about being a ‘snitch’ or a ‘grass’ but who took our baby from us. to find out.”

Separately, a fourth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Sam Rimmer, who was shot dead in Dingle, Liverpool on Tuesday 16 August.
A 23-year-old man from Liverpool was questioned by criminals on Saturday, police said.
Two men, aged 21 and 20, and a 17-year-old boy, who were also arrested on murder charges, have been released on bail.
