After entering Hengqin (Zhuhai) from the SAR, Macau residents who did not strictly adhere to the health measures of the isolation of their homes were administratively detained by the Hengqin authorities.

A 59-year-old resident woman walked from Ishiyama Village to the Hongqi Village market on Monday and was caught again on Thursday on the way from Ishiyama Village to the bank in the Qin shopping district.

The Hengqin Department of Public Safety has imposed 10 days of administrative detention on her in accordance with the law.

The Zhuhai Command Center for COVID-19 Prevention and Management yesterday issued a notice that all people entering from Macau must undergo 7 days of centralized quarantine and 7 days of home health monitoring.
