The “Experience Macau, Unlimited” caravan roadshow series arrived in Zhongshan, Guangdong today (Saturday) as the second stop of the Greater Bay Area tour after Zhuhai.

Roadshows include a showcase of the city’s ‘tourism +’ dimension, from events and festivals, gastronomy, sports, weddings, travel photography to leisure travel.

Cheng Wai Tong, Deputy Director General of MGTO, said that the roadshow will not only specially offer a variety of Macau tourism products, but also introduce Zhongshan-Zhuhai-Macau and Hengqin-Macau tourism information and products. By doing so, it increases the attractiveness of multi-destination tourism products and itineraries. As quoted in the MGTO statement, it aims to attract mainland visitors to Macau, promote mutual visits between Macau and other cities in the Greater Bay Area, and strengthen close ties in tourism development. I hope that we will continue to cooperate with each other.

MGTO will partner with Macau’s leisure tourism businesses, mainland e-commerce platforms, online travel agencies, etc. to launch the “Experience Macau, Unlimited” caravan/caravan across the Greater Bay Area over a series of weekends from August to December. We are developing a roadshow series.

Mr Cheng said last weekend that MGTO hopes visitor arrivals to Macau will reach 20,000 to 40,000 a day before China’s National Day holiday on Oct. 1.
