KUALA LUMPUR: The 18th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) kicked off on Wednesday with seven Kuwaiti companies out of nearly 400 companies from around the world participating in the Public Industries Corporation (PAI) pavilion.
Hara Bhadra, business development manager at Kuwait Danish Dairy Company (KDD), told KUNA that PAI will have a homely atmosphere inside a pavilion showcasing all Kuwaiti products, with the participation of Kuwaiti companies and overseas factories. Meanwhile, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Chief Executive Officer Mod Mustapha welcomed all countries participating in the exhibition at a press conference, stating that the exhibition will serve as a meeting point between companies and factories in the halal industry.
