Manchester United CEO Richard Arnold met a dissatisfied fan at the pub to address concerns about the club’s future.
Proponents were planning protests outside Arnold’s house as concerns continued over the ownership of the Glazer family.
Earlier this year, the CEO, who succeeded Ed Woodward, bought drinks for the group and discussed a variety of topics, including the pursuit of the owner and United’s Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

Arnold reportedly said that money was “not a consideration” in the club’s summer recruitment activities when asked about a transfer plan under the new boss Erik Ten Hag.
A Manchester United spokesman said:
“He goes to see them, buys drinks for them all, listens to them, succeeds on the pitch, improves the stadium, and what the club does to enhance engagement with fans. I explained if you were there. “
