David Maycock and Dennis Joell have started competing in the Pan American Bowling Confederation Champions of Champions in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On the first day, 15 nations competed in men’s doubles for a spot at the 2023 Pan American Games.
After eight doubles games, the Bermuda pair finished in 12th place with 3,209 total pins.
Maycock bowled 1,766 pins and had a best game of 258, his seventh.
Joel bowled 1,443 pins and his best game of 248 was also his seventh.
The United States is the leader with 3,710 pins, Costa Rica is second with 3,564 pins, and Guatemala is third with 3,530 pins.
Personally, Maycock is 10th in scoring and Joel is 29th.
