Users will be able to use the QR code for the COVID-19 vaccination and recovery certificate, as well as the QR code for public facilities, using the new all-in-one scanner.Health Minister YB Dato Dr Hj Mohammad Isham Hj Jaafar announced Thursday.

Other upgrades include the user interface, logging in to a user account using a biometric ID, and Help feature to resolve BruHealth issues.

The new BruHealth 3.0 version also has two new health programs, “BN on the Move” and “Check in Challenge,” both of which will be launched in the near future.

This app is part of a government initiative to transform healthcare delivery using artificial intelligence.

Integrated with the Ministry of Health’s BruHIMS patient data system, the app was first released in May 2020 as a COVID contact tracking app.

In September 2020, the government mandated all Brunei residents to use the smartphone app.

According to 2020 government data, more than 90% of residents were enrolled in BruHealth.

The app provides up-to-date information on COVID-19 development and related policy measures, monitors user health through self-assessment capabilities, and tracks exposure to risk from using Bluetooth and GPS tracking capabilities. increase.

Users must update and re-login to the BruHealth app before using the new features.
