Cormac Ross, the musician son of actor Tim Roth, has died at the age of 25 after being diagnosed with cancer.
The young composer and producer passed away on October 16th, the news was announced by his family on Monday.
A statement from the family said:
“He died peacefully in the arms of his family who loved and adored him.
“He has fought with incredible bravery over the past year and maintained his wicked wit and humor to the end.”
A graduate of Bennington College in Vermont, Ross’ passion for music began as a child.
He became a guitarist, composer and producer, but his family says his career is “just beginning to flourish.”
They added:
“He was wild, but Cormac was also the embodiment of kindness. A kind soul who brought so much happiness and hope to those around him.
“For the 25 years and 10 months we’ve known each other, the thought of that beautiful boy brings waves of sadness, tears and laughter.
“He’s irrepressible, fun, wild and amazing. He’s a man these days. We love him. We take him with us wherever we go.”
Ross is survived by his parents, Tim and Nicky Ross, and his younger brother, Hunter Ross.
